 Friends of Latham Park Association
- Organization:
A group of neighbors and concerned citizens from around the city of Sioux City
- Mission Statement:
Preserve, protect and promote the legacy and vision of Clara Latham for this park, and strive to carry on her dedication to the community
- Goals:
- Increase the value of the Park's endowment fund
- Annually raise funds to meet current operating expenses, plus add $10,000 to the trust principal
- Involve donor estate planning
- Organize annual fundraiser gala & other events
- Create and prioritize house & grounds projects
- Expand fundraising through grants and networking with other organizations
- Educate the public on horticulture & historic preservation
- Involve youth groups in clean-up & planting
- Offer on-site educational events
- Seek additional Association Board members
- Membership:
Open to any persons / businesses / organizations interested in preserving Latham Park:
- Board of Directors - currently open to expansion by nomination
- General Membership - annual dues of $25 per household
- Sponsorship - donations of $50 or more in cash, materials or services

To bring Latham Park back to a level of beauty it once experienced using today's ideas and resources, while striving to honor Clara Latham's wishes
- Grant / Fund Raising
To preserve and protect the legacy of Clara Latham through the securing of financial resources needed to insure the perpetuation of the Park
- Events / Projects
To plan projects and events for the purposes of education, culture and promoting awareness of Latham Park
- Community Volunteers
To work with the other committees in developing a listing of, and maintaining contact with, individuals / organizations to participate in projects and events

Held 7:00 P.M. on the second Thursday of each month at the Latham home - 1915 S. Lemon St., Sioux City, Iowa 51106
