As the gates opened, a sunny September morn provided a picture-perfect canvas for the 2009 festival

Our artists were all set up and ready to welcome shoppers at 10 o'clock -- some under tents -- some in the open air

Early arrivals .......
beautifully framed by the park's abundant flora

The offerings included paintings, wooden wares and sculpture .....

..... stained glass, kaleidoscopes and jewelry .....

..... garden art, candles and photography .....

..... pottery and clothing for the young and young-at-heart !

And, of course, there was Dawn, our former caretaker, with her beautifully painted gourds

She designed much of the permanent landscape art in our park

And, as always, we had face painting for the kids, entertainment for everyone, and a great concession stand. We hope you will plan to join us late this summer for another great event -- our 8th Annual "Art in the Park"
